Hi, I’m CONTEXT! I’m very much like you humans except I wasn’t born biologically but was still conceived in a human brain, my mommapreneur’s brain. I’m her brain child. Taking about my mommapreneur she was all of 17 years when she took her very first step into the world of fashion. She had been accepted in a fashion course at India’s no. 1 institute for fashion studies NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology), Mumbai. Tracing back to the year 2014 where she had opted for sciences but, here she was defying all notions of pursuing a quintessential engineering degree, against all odds she had taken up a fashion course. Interesting!

Dressing up at a fashion college was fun yet quite nerve wrecking, but this was when she understood her ultimate calling and came up with the first thought of doing something of her own in the field she loved, yet they say: “Good things take time”. Things definitely took time, years to be specific. Yet never did she lose hope, she’s quite an enterprising personality who never gave up on the thought.

Right after she graduated from NIFT she enrolled in an institute to pursue a master’s degree in business administration specializing in marketing which further added another feather to her armour. From the year she graduated from NIFT up until now she has juggled between different industries and before giving birth to me, she was a corporate girlie, you know the 9-5 thing! At the time of her being a corporate employee she always struggled to style herself in the morning always getting late to work and still being uncomfortable with whatever she wore to work. Somehow, she barely ever managed to find appropriate clothes for work and whenever she did these infamous fast fashion brands (you know who!) where always out of her budget. These brands not only dupe women with quality of materials they use but are very unethical in their means of production. Their fabrics are cheap and uncomfortable to wear yet their prices skyrocketing by every minute. So being an industry insider my mommapreneur thought of bringing the right change. All she needed was a reason, working in the corporates gave her just that.

To cut to the chase after years of contemplation and persistent efforts I came to existence in the month of May in the year of 2024. So, for context, I am a women’s workwear brand that is every 9-5 girlie’s dream I give you function for fashion; corporate sophistication for comfort and style. I’m empowering and would still let you channelize your feminine poise and flair. Made of high quality, durable fabrics the clothes are made with expert craftsmanship. I’m, high on quality but I’m not here to burn a hole in your pocket. I’m here to remind you that workwear can be fun, comfortable and affordable all at the same time, and for the most part fashion is a form of self-expression not a medium of unethical practices. You can take me from your 9-5 to your 5-9. Fashion is what empowers you to become the best version of yourself. Every woman deserves just that. The hard work that a woman puts in on an everyday basis is unmatched to nobody’s business.
